Product Description

Strung from 54 five-faced (Panchmukhi) Rudraksha beads — the most universally worn form of rudraksha in Vedic tradition — with brass-plated caps. The five faces are said to represent the five elements, balancing the energetic body. Worn for focus, protection, and a sense of daily groundedness.

Why It Matters

Rudraksha is one of the oldest recorded wellness tools in human history, documented in the Shiva Purana and used across monastic and lay traditions alike. The Panchmukhi is the most sattvic (balancing) of all mukhis — appropriate for everyone, no initiation required.

Your Sankalpa

About Rudraksha

Rudraksha (Elaeocarpus ganitrus) is the seed of a tree that grows primarily in the Himalayan foothills of Nepal and select regions of Indonesia. Its name means 'Eye of Rudra (Shiva)' in Sanskrit — and it has been referenced in the Shiva Purana, Devi Bhagavata Purana, and Atharva Veda as one of the most potent spiritual tools available to a householder. What makes it distinctive is its natural mukhi lines — the cleft marks running from top to bottom of the seed. These are not carved; they form in the seed as it grows. The number of mukhis is associated in Vedic texts with specific properties and energetic resonances. Modern wearers use rudraksha for its tactile grounding quality, its deep cultural resonance, and the sense of continuity it represents: holding something that has been held for the same purpose for thousands of years.

Care Instructions

Rudraksha is a seed — it benefits from occasional natural oil. Once a month, apply a single drop of sesame or coconut oil across the beads and wipe off the excess with a soft cloth. This maintains the seed's lustre and prevents cracking. Avoid submerging in water or wearing during swimming. The gold caps should be kept dry.
